PK McLaughlin-  Gone for the Summer.

Kindergarten- Gone for the Summer

1st grade: Improvising and Creating and a "you pick activity", these are activities that were their favorite throughout the year, it also helps practice previously learned skills. 


2nd grade: Composing and improvising,  "you pick activity", these are activities that were their favorite throughout the year, it also helps practice previously learned skills. 

3rd grade-  composing and improvising,

4th grade-

Guitar Class-GUITARS!!!!
Graduation Mass tomorrow as well, students will meet in nursery at 6:30.

June 3rd: There is an optional Guitar workshop lead by the Han Leck, the instructor at Guitartown in Irvington. The work shop is completely optional and cost $15 and held at Scecina. Please contact Mrs. Newhart, snadranewhart@yahoo.comfor more information. Please let us know by Wednesday if your child is interested.

June 11th- The guitar group has been invited to play after the 5:30 Mass for Ministry day. This is also optional, but the music director has specifically invited them, so it would be great for them to attend.

Class Choir Class: Creating dance moves in groups and practicing improvising. 

Performance Choir Class is now the Annual Fund Dinner Class-  Graduation Mass tomorrow as well, students will meet in the music room at 6:30 sharp.

PK McLaughlin-  Little Bo Peep, Hot Cross Buns, ,  Laurie Berkner- Drive my car, The airplane song, Bottle Caps,  A Ram Sam Sam, Frog in the meadow with Guiro, Bling Blang, Keeping the beat #22, ABC song, The Animal Alphaebet, I can wiggle, Freeze dance, Animal Action

Kindergarten- Composer music books Continue

1st grade: Learning about songs from other cultures

2nd grade: Composing and improvising

3rd grade- Instrument families review, composing and improvising

4th grade- Instrument families, voice types and bands and orchestras.

5th grade-  Composition Projects continue

Guitar Class- Graduation Mass is their next performance, it is mandatory if you are not an 8th grader to attend the Mass and play guitar that evening at 7:00, be present 6:30 arrival time.

Class Choir Class: Test on Friday for composers and periods, continued work on  composition projects. We will also work on rhythms and instrument playing.

Performance Choir Class is now the Annual Fund Dinner Class-  What a great show, thank you to all the parents for making sure your kids were present, and helping with costumes.  This week we will be practing for Mass,  Cleaning up, Breakfast Pitch in, Cast Party on May 24th during class.  Some student presentation, we will begin Glee projects, and sight reading in class. Graduation choir requirement.
